Shane asked: So I have a question about in what order should I do the bodybuilding exercises in an advanced workout plan that is listed here: http://fitness.scoobysworkshop.com/schedadvanced.htm
For an example if I have the following plan for monday:
“Chest: Three sets of dumbbell flys, 5-8 reps per set with 2-3min between sets. Three sets of dumbbell press, 5-8 reps per set with 2-3min between sets. Three sets of incline press, 5-8 reps per set with 2-3min between sets. Three sets of incline dumbbell flys, 5-8 reps per set with 2-3 min between sets.
Abs: three sets each of straight crunches, left crunches, and right crunches.”
1. Should I do three sets of of dumbbell flys in a row, then do three sets of dumbbell presses in a row and move down with the same pattern until I’m finishing the whole workout by doing three sets of right cruches in a row. (that just doesn’t make sense)
OR
2. I do one set of dumbbell flys then do one set of dumbbell presses, move down with the same pattern until finishing with one set of left crunches and right crunches and then starting the whole ring from the start until I’ve made 3 rings.
OR ALSO
3. Should I begin with doing ALL the chest exercises and then finish by doing ALL the abs exercises?
Some tips about this would be very helpful.
Thx!
Norman

PBBandit asked: My boyfriend and I have been into bodybuilding for 7 years. The lifting/cardio is fine but it’s the constant eating of clean foods (oatmeal, veggies, chicken etc) that can get old. For Valentine’s Day, instead of going out for a “nice” meal we have decided to get pizza and ice cream. This may seem lame to some but is considered a small piece of heaven to me.
So my questions are…
Do you cheat? If so, how often? What do you eat?

Lester Y asked: I work out regularly (3 times a week) but I am going on a trip out of the country for around 8 days (for a debating competition). I’m assuming that means little or no access to any form of weighted exercise, and less concern for proper dieting (due to constraints in access to food). I am also worried about the potential lack of sleep and alcohol consumption, not to mention the great stress of travel and competition.
The question is, will I lose a lot of the gains made from my previous workouts (i.e. poundage and some muscle mass)? If so, how much would I roughly lose and how can I help minimize it?
I still have a week to go before the flight, I’m thinking about certain fitness preparations (either train hard as hell and consider that week a “rest week” or consider the stress and train less hard to avoid overtraining/ severe fatigue).
Help a brother out here!

CombatRaptor asked: Okay, now I am a medium-sized dude. Not fat, not skinny but If i want to just give up having a six pack and sacrifice overall fitness for a hell lotta strength, is it ok if I eat what I want as long as it has lots of protein about 4-5 times a day, and work out hard ea body part 2x per week with cardio only being a light walk or jog? Reason being is that I want to be bigger within months instead of doing it with trying to have a six pack and having low body fat, which takes years.
